Selling my E34 525i. Has to go. Anyone in South Africa interested in this? Even open to parting it out?

Thanks.

Robert.

Costing me way too much. :(. And a 17 year old with a 525i wanting to maintain it in South Africa is hard work and a lot, lot of money. Which I don't really hav. Along with petrol prices. It will be a very sad sight to see her go really. :(

Go for a younger one, they are less abused and are more willing to do what you say rather than act according to how they feel at the time. If you go for a 17 yo or older, make sure she has never been abused :D

She's 17 or so. Not getting another Beemer. They go through petrol like juice unfortantly. Going to get something small and light. Then maybe in a few years time a E34 540i. :)

Well that is a big shame Rob, :( :(

I know how you feel tho. Mine is just sitting in the shed with not enough time or money to fix her issues!! She'll get there one day, but for now... She has to wait patiently.

All the best with the sale, and let us all know when you get that 540i!!! :D

Just park her till you can afford to put some cash into her... I have a couple of those sitting around... I keep buying wrecked BMW's... LOL

Lol,

Ya, she doesn't need much work. Well she has a hole in the exahust, need the cooling fixed. Then changed spark plugs and air filter. Then she's running again. Then its just body work and some interior lights which is cheap. I think I will save some money and get a few things done all ar once. Although I need to explain to my old man why I'm gonna try keep her...

the exhaust, spark plugs and filter will have to be done on any car tho rob....But you are right they arent economical on gas.If you feel you should sell maybe you should,if you think you can find a really nice one, otherwise you will face the same issues later....and in a few more years they will all be old....

I don't care about the age of the car. To me it will always be a E34. And have the same apeal as it does to me now. Just they aren't frendly on fuel..:( Is there any tricks to saving fuel? I use the cruise control as much as I can and stick to speed limits meaning not having the throtel wide open all the time.
