i just need to know where the tcu is located so i can replace it. i think the trans is ok and the wiring harness to as i had the car on a lift today i disconnected the wiring harness and everything looked clean. no trans oil on the connecter or harness. i replaced the dme already asi was having idle issues. i used a dme off of a 535i and my car runs great(the engine) also does anyone know what the part is called that the wiring harness connects to on the trans. the trans is a 4hp22 i think. any info would be greatly appriciated

well what is your car doing? does it stutter when you press the gas pedle down? does it die at idle? i have a throttle position sensor but never put it on as i just replaced the DME. I pulled my parts from a junk yard the comp cost me $30 and the throttle position sensor cost like $4. i will take picks of the tps and the DME tomorrow and post it for u. it's nite time here in germany.hopefully that helps u
