problems with clutch

Hi my friends,
i'm from Bulgaria and i have some cuestions concerns
the parts of clutch of my BMW E34. So today i
dismounted the clutch of my car and i found that the
CLUTCH DISK ASBESTOS is diferent then the clutch disk
exhibited in
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HB11&mospid=47369&btnr=21_0008&hg=21&fg=05
u can see it. My disk is the same like on M50 engine.
Thell me what could be reason of this diferent, and
could that be critical for my ride? It is posible my
VIN to be wrong, and how to know what exactli is my
engine.

If you could tell us the year and model of your car I think we could help you a little better. Some pics of the engine and the cluch you pulled out might help as well.

I guess its possible someone did an engine swap at some point, or your clutch may not be original equipment, or realOEM might have the wrong diagram up (these are just guesses BTW).
