Hey guys,

I am looking at fitting a full set of clear lenses to my E34.

I was quoted nearly $650AUD for the genuine parts, but found:

2x front lenses +
2x side repeaters- $67.50AUD

2x rear lenses- $180AUD

Has anyone fitted non-genuine clear lenses to their E34??
Good/ Bad responses??

Any info will be great...

Cheers,

I bought front lenses for $27 USD off some website, non OEM. I compared them to my originals while they were out and they were exactly alike, I have had them for 6 months, no cracking, fogging, and the weather stripping is good quality. I am sure other members will tell you to buy OEM, but these are just as good. I mean, how hard is it to make a plastic turn signal? its all plastiC! take the money you saved and buy beer!

Nick

I picked up some non-OEM clear front corners and side repeaters and have had them fitted on my 95 540iLE for over 6 months and am very happy with the result.

Where in Tas are you? I am in Hobart. If you would like, you would be welcome to contact me and come around for a look.
