Didn't plan on this, went shopping for a cheap amp and ended up at a high end audio store who just so happenned to be getting rid of all their car audio at cost :help .

What I already had:
Alpine cda-7990 :alright :redspot :buttrock
Alpine 5 1/4 type R's out back soon to be replaced by a Alpine SPX component set.

What i picked up:
JL E4300
JL 250/1
JL vr600 csi
JL 10w6 v2

What I already had + What I bought =
(keeping in mind I still have some work too do) I plan on making another front piece to recess the amps and who knows maybe some white LED's

Will have better pics when it's 100% finished. Right now i'm getting some back alternator whine that has to be solved. All the power cables and rcas are separated this weekend i'm going to redo all of the grounds, any pointers. Also I find the JL component tweeters to be very harsh, I havn't touched the amp yet maybe when my buddy tunes it the'll clean up a little. Anybody have any advice?

you can get better performance out of your amps if you get a capacitor, and it helps out your charging system

I like bass

Your cables are running very neat, I like the wiring.

I ran a group loop isolator off the head unit - did wonders to quiet noice in the system

Thanks for the feedback guys. And the tips i'm definately just bought one of those loop isolators.

I know it's not the most beautiful system on here but i like it.

Anybody else have anypics of their systems?

my setup looks identical (when looking in the trunk) .. be careful when you put stuff in there so it doesn't wreck your connections n stuff..

for alternator whine make sure you isolate your wires as best as possible.. in my system i noticed i had particular difficulty around the trunk area.. (passing from the passenger compartment into the trunk)

other than the high end being harsh.. how's it sound?

Sweet job man - you're giving me ideas. I discovered that the PO had removed the factory amp and installed his own - which is not left in there at sale. Bastard. I hate my cars PO.
