About 20 years ago here in Columbus we had a sink hole appear at Broad and High. This is dead center of town, where the state house is and the addresses all go to zero.

Hole was about 20 feet accross and ate someones brand new mercedes whole. CNN aired an awsome shot of this very dejected looking guy, sitting on the hood of his MB at the bottom of a very deep hole.

Na, that E34 can be saved I'm sure. I'd be very pissed off if it was my E34. :( Poor guy.

But would they bother??
They are not worth much these days :(

Unless they were an E34 fanatic like all of us!!! :D

Several years ago a sinkhole appeared at night on I-40 just outside Wilmington, NC. It was nowhere near that deep but it was in the just past an overpass and was bouncing cars off the road.
They fill in swamps to build roads and houses here and there was a Lowes in Jacksonville,NC that actually had to move after there store started sinking.

Dibs on his sunroof - mine has a couple of rust spots that I was going to fix, but his car is the same colour as mine, so gimme gimme ;)

I think the city is liable for any damage inflicted to your car by public road.

There is unfortunately ALOT of neglected, trashy E34s round where I live... Such a shame!! One in particular owned by an asian student: Faded Maroon paint, Dents on every panel (Including the roof!! WTF??), missing foglight, missing trims off doors, not washed since it was built, saggy suspension, 'bottlecaps' missing centres... Its an eyesore!! Not to mention the leaky exhaust noise and rattling motor!!

I love the E34s, and feel like bitch-slapping all the 'owners' who neglect them!!

But on the plus side... These peices of **** make my E34 look like a show-stopper!! :D :D
