My first post

I have e34 5-serie touring. My door handle broke of. I bought a used one. But when i tried to mount it it just doesn't click. It fits perfectly but are there any screws or handles you have to use that i don't see? Do i have to remove the door panels?

Any thoughts?

you need to pull the door panel, on the end of the door theres a little black plastic plug that you need to remove to uncover the sliding latch for the outer trim piece that goes around the handle, after you get the trim off theres a ring that unscrews from around the lock and a screw or bolt (depending on the year, sometimes a bolt from the inside sometimes a screw from the outside) that holds the handle to the door, theres a couple electrical plugs and you usually need to play with a it a little to get it out of the door latch and out of the door
