Well, 4 years and 50k miles later, the clutch from the donor 540i is failing in my Touring.
I plan on installing/replacing:
Complete clutch kit
Shifter bushings
Clutch master & slave
Clutch soft line
The flywheel has a combined total of 77k miles (27k from the donor car, and 50k in the Touring). Should I be prepared to replace that as well? Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket, lightweight flywheels for the M60B40? Is there anything else that I should consider replacing while the trans is dropped?
