I've got over a quarter of a tank of fuel and the OBC is showing a range of only 71Kms. Points to fuel level sensor, anyone cleaned that thing before?

I've never cleaned it, but I've had it out. I have no idea if it is serviceable or not. I'm guessing you are probably better off replacing it, but I could be wrong.

Another thought would be resetting the OBC and see if that helps.

Not sure if you can actually reset the OBC at the OBC or if the only way is to disconnect the battery.

Kinda obvious, but were you driving the car ungodly hard before checking the obc? I think it adapts to your driving style, so if you were getting 5mpg the last few min, it might show a very small range remaining.

I took it out once and opened it. It may get stuck sometimes. Shogun has a webpage with a link to repair procedure.

OK guys, first of all i was just cruising@ about 80kph (60) so at that speed i should get a fairly decent range but it now seems to be all over the place. This afternoon it seemed to be working ok so go figure!!
