I had a bad experience with a driveshaft shop doing an old e32 years ago.
I suggest seeing what cars are in the shop when you go. If they seem to work on crap there is a reason. I used a crummy shop because of price and regretted it.
My suggestion is a quality reman.

My custom-made d/s from Driveline Services of Portland is very smooth. I've had no issues with it whatsoever in the 18 months I've had it. They send the "new" one in a sturdy cardboard tube with the paperwork for sending the core back for a refund. My total cost was ~$400.

thanks gale glad to hear it

i'm gonna take it back to my local shop and hope its an alignment issue
b/c as some1 pointed out its a vibration at speed not lash or harsh sounds
like knocking or slapping...

so we'll see but 400 seems doable
