Electrical Weirdness

Within the past week or so the 10 amp fuse that controls the RHS parking lights has been blowing. Typical electrical problem - doesn't do it all the time. The strange part is that when the fuse blows, all dashboard lights except the OBC and digital display go dark. All gauges still work. I also got a "Brake Circuit" error during one episode. Thought the brake switch could be a factor so I replaced it. Still blowing the fuse. I have also cleaned all the contacts in the bulb sockets. Went as far as replacing the light switch - no effect. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

I am getting the exact same problem (minus the brake circuit error... already replaced that switch a few months ago :o )

I checked my trunk lid hinge, and everything seemed fine. cable moves pretty freely and didn't see any cuts or damage of any kind.

Don, did you ever find resolution to this problem? If so, I would love to hear the cure. :)
