Well so did I until I played this game

http://www.liveforspeed.net/

It's so fun - me and another bimmer info were playing earlier. I was thinking maybe if people get bored we can all run laps in the game.... its really fun, try it out!

I'd play it on PS2 maybe if they had it .. or if I had a wheel for my PC ... but playing racing games on a keyboard is just a big pain and really silly as all the controls are digital (on-off)... i need analog control when i play racing games.

I played it for awhile, but i grew tired of it. World of Warcraft is more my style.

yea but with these requirements:

Required computer specifications:
1 GHz CPU, 128 MB memory, 3D graphics card

who actually would have a machine that could run it? maybe in a couple years

Jay is right :-)

This is what I play

You have to have a nice graphics card, tons of ram, and a zippy cpu for it though, it sucks it all up quickly.

I encourage you all to try it out!
I think I will try that racing game out, I was a Project gotham racing 2 for xbox fan because I would take the BMWs out on Nuerburgring. :-D

3.4ghz 64 bit
1 gig of nice quick ram

I've been tinkering with my computer like I would like to be able to someday be able to tinker with my car... I'm just learning :-)

lol

i've been playing LFS since last year

its a fun game, but keep in mind as real as they try to make it
its still a game...u can't feel anything through your seat in terms
of what the car is doing

and my logitech momo wheel doesnt even come close to the steering
feel my e34 provides, let alone a race car

the game has a steep learning curve but it is one of the more
"realistic" simulations out there.

cheap too =]
