Hi!
I'm buying a '90 320i with rack & pinion steering. The steering doesn't feel tight on this car, but the ball joints and tie rods all feel solid. The only thing I can think of is that the steering rack is worn but the car only has 78,000 km on it. Does anyone know if this was a common problem with BMW's rack & pinion steering? Thanks.
