How many E34 540i's have limited slip diffs?

Does anyone know if 540i's came standard with LSD's for any year, or were they only an (expensive) option?

I dont think any were equiped with LSD as they came with the ASC Option. I am getting ready to do an LSD in mine. I have found a new Dynamic LSD Diff for $1200. - JT

I've heard of 540s with LSD. Mine doesn't have one, unfortunately.
