rear bumper advice

someone hit my car this weekend and the damage is really kind of strange.. not sure how it happened but basically a big pice of my bumper cracked on the corner and a piece maybe 10cm by 5cm broke off.. it's underneath the actual bumper on the lower bit.

so i took it to a bodyshop and my friend said it looks like the whole unit has to be replaced.

i really like the stock bumper.. but maybe if there is a nice subtle aftermarket one i could put that on..

any suggestions? i'm not sure where to look

i don't want anything like this but it's making me think maybe the whole bumper doesn't have to be changed.. can i just get a stock lower piece ?

Most after market kits are add on. But their quality vary a lot. I would think it will look weird if only the rear has the add on. Stock bumper is one piece.
