Glove box problem

My glove box wont stay shut ( occasionally pops open while driving)and the bottom keeps falling out and wont stay on the hinge. Any ideas?

try replacing the hooks that hold it on the bar, in the back of it.
also, make sure that the little "cloth wire" or whatever you want to call it, is properly connected. im talking about the ones that are on the front of the glvoebox, and they keep the thing supported when it's pulled out.

Are you referring to the part that has a metal round disk on it and a snap lever that you can close to tighten?

Yes - that would be the clamps at the rear. instead of replacing - try using some shrink wrap around the bar first. worked wonders for me.
