Does the dor lock and unlock with the others or is the lock inoperative?Ie does the knob on the door liftand fall with the other or is it down permanently. If it is down can it be liftrf or does it seem to be stuck down
Lastly where sre you located, and has the car got an alarm/remote and if so

Not to hijack the thread but I have the same issue. The manual lock is stuck and I bought the guts ( latch, handle, etc..) . How can I get the panel off in 1 piece?

I must have some quality german clips because my door panel was giving before my near 20 year old NC sun treated clips were.
This is not my usual method but ( good preface) what does a panel go for?

That is basically what I did last night, except I jammed my arm in. A bar may have been a better choice judging by the sharp edges I found with my forearm.
