Hello,

I was wondering if you folks have recommendations on a type/brand of sway bar kit for the front and rear. The model is an E34 2/1994 BMW 530i V8. If you have any hazards or caveats on what to look out for, please post them. I have been casually looking at the options, but I'm not coming up with a whole lot. I can't seem to find any listed. I would like to not end up worse off than when I started, so here I am. Thank you.

Thor

One point of clarity though- Is racing dynamics the name of the company, or is it called RDSport? They seem to have a problem with the Alexandria, Virginia based company according to RDSport. Stealing designs or something or other.

How about a 26mm BMW sway bar from an E32 and a 20mm rear sway bar from M5. A LOT cheaper. Call BMA

How much better is the front sway bar from a e32 735i? is it a worthwhile upgrade?

E34 M5 bar is 25mm front with 18/19/20 rear depending on your preference.

Stock E34 is 23 front/15 rear. Price for the 26mm would not be any more than a 25mm probably.

Here's the story of what happened with Racing Dynamics.. In effect, the site that angrypancake sent is the knockoff.. I'm not ready to buy, so I haven't contacted RDSport to see wat E34 stuff they have available, since they don't have anything on their site.

Reading through that story, I have to say that the owner of the trademark sounds like a ****stick.

He says that he "may" be able to help you if he sells you a pile of crap. Some other guy talking about a class action suit. He sounds like sales slime. I hate sales slime. I'm gonna take a pass on this for now. I don't want some melted down taiwanese motherboard holding my BMW together.

Might be worthwhile having a chat with Bigkriss about this - I think he has researched the subject thoroughly.

I'll have to agree, that he is a ****stick.

Bought my rd2 wheels from him. he had my cash for 3 months before he sent the wheels. and then another 2 weeks for hub rings, and...never sent the right center caps- (hats off to pmlmotorsports for making that part right :D )

Don't forget you will need new swaybar bushes with the new bars also. For aussies it's cost prohibitive to purchase aftermarket bars overseas, when we have Kmac and Whiteline in Sydney. I will be purchasing a 22mm rear bar soon. It's aud$290 with urethane bushes and rear swaybar links. I'm assuming there won't be too much oversteer. There are many different manufacturers around.
