Low-beam failure fix?

Hey guys,
Wondering if you could help me find the write-up for eliminating the 'low-beam failure' message on the OBC when you run HIDs.

Saw it at one time, and am unable to find it now.

one fix was a normally closed relay? which when lights are off fools the lkm to look at the high beams,as soon as lights turned on the relay opens and normal service resumed.
