Hi,

My mechanic friend told me this; I am not sure this is a good way. I will put it before you guys to judge it.

Step 1: Put the heater control in the car to fully warm.
Step 2: Open the expansion tank cap.
Step 3: Disconnect upper and lower radiator hoses.
Step 4: Apply pressure in the Expansion tank mouth. (Optional!!; its going to take longer time otherwise)

He says this will drain all the coolant. Since there is a hole in the thermostat to assist bleeding.

What do you guys think?

Thanks
Arun

well if the hose was at the bottom it would help but mid way Id guess it'd get half the fluid. My method works even tho it takes a while.

I think you are right. This is probably a method to do a quick job; not a neat one.
