Hi guys,
I decided to keep my bimmer. Selling it was something I couldn't get myself up to.
It runs a slightly modded M30 , but I always wanted to fit a M102. I previously owned a M102 but sold it. This morning I bought the same engine back, still in parts. The new owner didn't have the time to rebuild it.
What puzzels me, is if it would be possible to run the M102 with the internals of a M30. This with the thought of raising compression( to avoid the M102's huge turbo lag) and use the advantages of the crank lubrication of the M102.
Any of you guys exeprimented, or know anyone who did, with these engines?
