Seems like when i go to start the car on a cold morning, when i put the key in the ignition, I get the "low coolant" and "engine oil press" warnings chiming on, but if i leave the key in the ignition for a few(15) seconds before starting they usually go away themselves... I'm guessing the low coolant could mean mine is a tick low but why the engine oil pressure?? Any ideas?

When is the last time you checked/changed the oil? Have you fiddled with the cooling system lately?

If we knew what car you were driving, that would help. On an M50 engine its on the side of the oil filter housing.

Have you tried cleaning hte contacts? I used to get the "coolant error" until I cleaned up BOTH contacts.

Hey Diamond, on my 535 the oil pressure sensor is very near the oil filter housing, but deeper down towards the bottom of the engine block. I'll take a picture in the morning if no one tells you more precisely before that.
