525i e28 manual in Australia (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Classic-1986-Red-BMW-Great-for-collector-or-enthusiast_W0QQitemZ4619594563QQcategoryZ84599QQrd Z1QQcmdZViewItem), looks nice. Love 5-speeds. Pity it's only a 525i, still- I wish I had the bucks to nab her. But if I was looking to fill the stable, I'd also be looking at this.. Ah, you Aussies and your pretty bumpers.
Hmm, somehow that sounded wrong...

And since when is 365000km 'high kilometre'??

I didn't think we got the 525i E28???? Has the seller got it confused with the 525e??? I tend to agree with Rob that the 528i is a much better deal. The 2.8ltr is such a sweeeeeet motor. With the E28s longer ram pipes (longer than E12) it was just so much torquier and the re-mapped rear end made it a sweet car (none of the suicidal lift-off oversteer). It's the kind of car that you can use as a thrash car and not care about killing.:p

Pretty bumpers, non-anti-smog-strangled motors...But look how much we have to pay for these cars!

lmao pretty bumpers? Oh, you shouldn't have ;)

yeah thing i realised the other day, the euro 528i has actually got the same power as a US 535i. yeah 525i, 528i and 535i are all M30s as well but i am yet to see a 525i e28 for sale in australia. mine is a daily, mine papa drives it and its not bad, in alot of respects its nicer than my e34. i think mine is one of the first e28's delivered here, its build date is 2/1982!, its a bit scary having a car that was born 11 months before you were!

You wouldn't be talking about a church pulpit would you? Maybe he'll have to move the Camira to move the Torana so he can back out the Commodore!
