Good post I also wonder where they can be found. I know Kristian knows!

We also want some, I broke one in my hand on the last job as it didn't let the joint twist as I moved it around. Everyone risks breaking them if the boot grabs on the shaft when you move them about.

I think most people that damage them avoid repair them at the time and just stick em on anyway. I'd like a few spare in the future just for insurance... especially if one has to use a puller anywhere- they can do nasty things to boots if you have to bash at them... :) Nick

I have asked on some German boards and also my supplier in Germany for the Meyle parts. No positive reply so far.
People from the U.S. ordered from Johan, so maybe no source in USA or no one knows.
In deed I need one hundred pieces, have to keep this 20 tons press busy :D

My colleagues press with that press suspension parts in and use the metal parts from the old ones, so only the wear parts are replaced.

They are distributed among our club members at special prices and sold on the jap. auction house to non-members for supporting our hobby workshop, to buy tools and so on.

This visco clutch I imported from Germany (Meyle is the maker) for V8 and
V12 engines and we are selling that too

If I get a good info from Germany, I will let you know. Maybe I can buy in bulk more.
Pls ask Kriss for the address and prices. The rubber part and the clip. He has my email address.
I will be offline from 18-27, trip to Germany.

The only place I know of is in the USA from www.bmpdesign.com - Sorry Enrich - I don't know any distributors in Australia.

Winfred doesn't like them that much though. (http://www.bimmer.info/forum/showthread.php?t=13224&highlight=ball+joint+boots)

I was looking for feedback on those. I'm also dealing with young FCP arms with cracked balljoints. Too bad there's very little feedback on those bmp boots. Then again, for $11 or $12 you might as well just try them out.

I am sure they might be happier if they felt you were not canibalising their market in premature death of their parts.... :) Nick

canibalising their market in premature death of their parts

That is probably why they not sell them as single parts.
I now have a contact with a small shop in Germany through a friend. They have a box with various sizes of boots. But they won't tell him where they got it. So there must be a source for pro shops to buy them somewhere.
Keep on googling.
The same was with parts for fuel injectors. First I was told no single parts available, but some specialized companies in USA are selling repair tips, O-rings etc.
Here one example

They must be out there somewhere. We just have to find it.
