...jack up front wheel, spin, some spot along the rotor 'grabs' when passing on rotation through the caliper/pads.... what should I do? Can SEE it when jack up the wheel and spin by hand, it grabs a bit when that portion of the rotor passes, then frees up until that portion passes the caliper/pad again... Must help decrease my MPG and accellerate pad/rotor wear...

replace rotors?
have them turned?
rebuild calipars?
rebuild calipars and new rotors and new pads?

looking for steps from lleast to most cost costly.... thanks. -Rob.

Maybe time to just get E32 740/750/7<what is it> fronts and/or 540 rears and do the upgrade ????

Pls advise COA (course of action) thanks - Rob.

pattern and torque. Then try spinning it again and see if you get the same amount of grab. All brake rotors will have some runout how much is the question. If it still has alot of grabbing after retorquing then you can take the rotor off the car and inspect the hub carefully for built up garbage or rust or dings, damage, high spots on the wheel hub itelf and on the rotor inside hub surface. Usually just carefully filing and cleaning up these mounting surface will take care of the problem unless you have a really warped rotor. Frequently its just a lack of attention to these little things that makes a big difference out at the braking surface of the rotorhttp://www.bimmernut.com/%7Ebillr/images/Hub22%20copy.jpg
