Both very clean cars!

Lovely trim, is that shadowline stuff or DIY stuff?

I dont know about anyone else here, but I have developed an E30 & E36 itch. My A4 doesnt do it for me anymore.

Thanks for the compliments. The shadowline is DIY for sure. I took all the trim off cleaned it, sanded it, cleaned it again, sprayed it with self etching primer then painted it. It has held up really well and, I think, looks really good. I'll never go back to the chrome.

I was under the impression that taking off all the trim was tedious and time consuming. Am I wrong?? cuz if not, that sounds like a good weekend project.

It isn't too tedious taking the trim off and putting it back on. The project itself is a bit tedious as you have to wait in between coats. Make sure you get replacement clips because you will break then when you take the trim off the car (they are black plastic clips and they aren't expensive). I think I bought about 20. I think the overall result is worth it.

GOod luck...let me know how it goes.
