I'll have to take your word for it.

In the guy's defense, this looks to me like "just one of those things". If there was a deer there, I'm not sure how he could've avoided it. A little more skill wouldn't have hurt, but we can't expect every guy to be Mario Andretti, even if he does have a nice car.

Im sure, everyone under 35 is a complete moron who shouldnt be allowed on the road.

P.S. Sometimes age doesnt matter. Anyone can be an idiot, and anyone can be a great driver. While "wise" older drivers may be better than young smart drivers, they are few and far between.

Hitting a dear at 45 would have been a lot better then doing what he did to that car... thats were age come in...

to quote hunter s thompson.... the only way to hit a deer is while accelerating. think about it. if you slam on the brakes, the nose dives down and the deer ****s up your windshield and you could get a hoof in your face. when youre accelerating the nose is up and oh well, one more dead deer, and some minor front end damage.

OT, Jay, your PM box is full and I have something of interest for you regarding what we were discussing

ditto on the deer, but that looks less like a "joint" related issue, and more of a "opened shaken beer can - psssssssssssstttt!"

I don't drink, but I bet cans and a twisty road in a vette don't mix!

What an interesting idea. Almost makes me wish I had a beater and a deer would cross my path just so I could test it out.

Jr The deer love you. What is your opinion on this?

our cars are low enough that it wouldnt matter either way, if your gonna hit a deer, slam the brakes and duck immediatley.

[In 2004, Michigan experienced a reduction in the number of total car-deer crashes, which are at their lowest level since 1995. According to the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, there were 62,707 deer-vehicle crashes in 2004, down approximately 7.4 percent from the 67,760 crashes reported in 2003. Miller said that a very high number of crashes also go unreported.]

If there are any lonely hunters around, they, like myself (though not a lonely hunter) would have spotted the white rear end of a deer on the first viewing. Also, you hear one voice say "I knew something was going to happen"... well... if you can predict the future well enough to know that something bad will come of this situation it is your magical A$$ that needs to say "hey guys I think this is a bad idea." !!!!!!
