What do you prefer?

I'll vote first-DTM.

are dtm the curved ones that you see a lot on 3-series? if so, definitely the straight ones.

they look even funnier when they're on upside down. this guy i met put his facing the ground cause he thought it would give him even more +hp, you know, cause the force of the exhaust was aiming at the ground... or whatever he said. i wish to this day i had a picture of it. priceless.

DTM's on a 5 looks like it was backed up into something. The large straight pipes like on Kris's DV M5 look awesome....it sounds awesome too, but that's because of the Eisen exhaust and not just the tips...I still can't get over how the whole exhaust cutout in the M5's rear bumper is completely filled with those Eisen exhaust tips...now that's large!

while I think that pics of the D's all looked jacked up, when I actually drive by em on the street I notice that they hug the cars nicely. I mean in my own personal opinion, I don't think any exhaust is terribly attractive once you really look at it. So for my money, and from a distance, I'd just assume that in hugged the contour of the car and pretended not to be there. I love exhaust on a new car that's cut under so you don't even see it.

When Bruno had a 5 series, he put on DMT tips. Then someone told him you could get OE FACTORY chrome tips for less:

Bottom line, factory chrome tips are cleaner and alot prettier. But hey, its your car, so go for it!

I am biased, I must say that more sometimes is not best.

This is my 540i and the jury's still out on the quad tips...........

These are the ones i bought for my car. For $40 i think its a great way to improve the overall look of the car.
