Hi all,
I'm located somewhere in the middle of England. and I've owned my pride and joy. A 1988 E34 525sei in lacs silver, for 4 years this march.

Now I'm ready for an upgrade! and have been searching hi and low for a late model E34 540 Saloon preferably in black, fully loaded, and preferably with the "real drivers" 6 speed manual box!

Six long autumn/ winter months later still nothing! CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?!!!!

what id really like is one of the last E34 4.4 V8 B10 Alpina's. (but i fear, given their as rare as rocking horse ****! even if i magicaly found one it would be out of my price range!!)

So ill just settle for a normal 540. The best looking all round bimmer of all time. (in my opinion any way!!)

Thanks for the kind words! It’s my baby, and still is… for the time being any way! Until I fined a black/purple 540. Something about the wide grille and V8!!

I still can’t seem to get my sig to work properly. And I’ve got some great ‘before and after’ shots id like to post but there to large for this forum, I need somewhere to host them. Any help on this would be appreciated too!

Cheers,

Steve

can you import from scotland? there's a black b10 bi turbo for £8,500 here. (http://www.thealpinaregister.com/photos.php?alpinaid=290&carid=259&type=1) They also have a b10 4.0 touring, owned by Ashwoods of Amersham. Whereever that is....

i didn't know if there were specific laws dealing with transferring a car from scotland to england. i guess "importing" wasn't the right choice of words...
