Installed them yesterday with help from Bruno. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The fender gap is history! THANKS BRUNO!
Ride FEELS good. I feel more connected to the road but without being harsh. Bumps are more pronounced and my mp3/cd player seems to feel it more than I do now.
Body roll is DRASTICALLY decreased. No longer need to hang on to the armrest to take the offramps more quickly ;) Great!
Next thing is to tighten all the linkages, dial in the steering, install delrin inserts... and when spring comes around and it's wheel time...
The difference is like summer and winter, heh.
NB: BTW those are wheel covers ;)

How do you shave the bumpstops? Are we talking internal bumpstops?

That looks a good 1/2" lower than my Sachs kit at all four corners.

Did Bruno added any spring pads to the lowering springs? I'm sure you have seen my tread and I have been having the noise on the springs when the car hits bumps or pot holes.

And, they aren't happy with Bilstein sport struts.
They look good, and appear damn low.
They're also cheaper than H&R's, Eibach, & everything else.
Here's my HSO (hot sports opinion);
They're bavarian autosport springs!

Somebody, please, prove me wrong.Mate I was thinking the same thing for a long time. I have to say I'd like to see some proof they aren't. My gut feel though (not that its worth much), is that they aren't bavautos.

Bavauto springs were made by Jamex last I checked...... I will call Vogtland and speak to Richard tromorrow................the answer will be here by 12 noon EST.

Bavauto springs were made by Jamex last I checked...... I will call Vogtland and speak to Richard tromorrow................the answer will be here by 12 noon EST.

I thought so myself, but the handling is great, and the rear camber isn't 'retarded'... expecially when pulled up to a 'tuner' Civic with double digit fender rubbing negative camber lol

OK I just spoke with Richard the US Rep for Vogtland. He denies any business dealings with Bavarian Autosport. Furthermore, over the years he has approached them on several occasions in an effort to become their supplier, and each time he has been denied. Apparently they are cost oriented and have enjoyed their relationship with the current supplier(s) for years......according to Richard the original supplier was Eibach, but he believes they have since changed to an unverified source.........I hope this settles matters.

that about answers the basic question...notI wish we could just see one side by side with the other. a good eye can spot if the same tooling was used to make them, other give-aways could be part number stampings or even paint and printing... I have to say that it is unliley bavauto are the only people in the world selling that particular spring- if made in Europe they would be being sold with other brands on them in various places. I doubt bavauto would ever get such a specialty product made exclusively for them when it is already up against other parts and brands already well-established in the market. :) Nick

I still have NFI who's are actually who's, but it sure looks like there are waaay too many companies making springs for e34s, let alone claiming that they fit all types of e34. I have no idea if this friendly NZ automotive engineering specialist is changing the world of suspension or is even claiming to be doing this, but they are re-branding their asses and doing the usual imported universal coil-overs fro Jap imports. These e34 springs are branded Jamex (www.jamex.co.nz (http://www.bimmer.info/forum/www.jamex.co.nz)) 'from the Netherlands'. Then again... they are probably for e36 anyway :D
Of course we are still looking for the true source of the Vogtlands... any news anyone?
