Just wanted to say that after at least a years absence and back into an E34 for only a few weeks, that this continues to be the BEST E34 group ever. Roadfly is worse than ever and some of the other groups have practically no membership.

Here you get the straight deal whether you like it or not and the most help possibe.

Just a thanks for not going away while I was gone and now that I'm back I want to be as much help as I can to other members as well.

I post on both and it seems that Roadfly is getting less and less action. Many of the postings are almost impossible to understand as the poster provides limited information on his problem.

Thought I recognized the name, welcome back. What was the absence for?

I have tried Roadfly as well and it was useless. I have had have found more help here than anywhere else, not to mention good ideas and useful tips. Now if I could just get my car to look as good as most of the contributors here, I'll finally feel worthy to be a part of this group.

Thanks..I do like the color a lot but those rims just make it look dreadful. New rims would make it look ten times better...Just look at some of the cars in this group. There are some really, really nice rides in this group.

Lower it before you get new rims, it will look alot better IMO. Your car is really not bad looking, to tell you the truth i havent seen a bad looking e34 yet (aside form intentionally body kitted e34s). Yours is no exception.

I think not. I agree that some rims look nice. But since when did these classic BMW rims become dreadful? I for one am not a fan of 18" plus rims with "rubber band" tires that make your car ride like a truck and destroy your suspension. If you drive it everyday it needs to be practical. Just my opinion.

That's true.

Lowering your car will make your stock rims look better. Running the stock ride height with 17" rims looks odd.

Soft ride, elegant look yet sportive.

so why did BMW set the front ends so obnoxiously high? they could have raised the strut tower if it was simply for more travel.

Speaking of which, Jeff, is your Bronzit Beast lowered from "cherry picker" height yet? :p

Cheers,
Duey

p.s. 525, don't worry, stock weaves aren't too bad...they also came stock on 94 and 95 850Ci's....none of these cars are at all "bad" lookinging, let alone "dreadful"...
