Shock sizes 19mm, or 22mm

Hello all, I have an 89 535i, and it has 19mm bolt shocks. I was just wondering if I change the shock mounts out to fit the 22mm bolt size would it be better or worse for my pride and joy, switching to the 22mm shocks?

They will not make much difference between 19 to 22. only size different.
