Clever design !

The continuing saga of my M20 head gasket replacement continues :

Put the timing belt on last night and am so impressed by how cleverly the whole thing has been designed. Not only is achieving top dead centre TDC achievable - it is even ridiculously easy - but the belt tensions itself !

Wow !

What a revelation for someone who was having nightmares about achieving both the timing and tension issues.

More to the point, sons 1 & 2 can now do it in their sleep !
