I have just bought a s5 3.7 as schnitzer tuned e34 ,there doesn,t seem to be much info on the net about them so if someone wants some picks and info e-mail me at dirty.deeds@talk21.com.I am having it dyno'd this week so it will be interesting to see what it will do.

haven't ever heard of the ACS 3.7. Sounds like a stroked M30 535 motor. Have any pics? I'd like to see how ACS looks on an E34.

Wow, that's very nice! Never seen E34 ACS before... I saw E39 ASC at a local dealer and it is a "bad Boy"!

I think the spoilers are M-Technik, car almost looks like a 95 M// 540i , but with the much faster and sleaker grill :D

That looks a cool ride ;)

So does it use M5 crank and rods ?

The bottom lip of the spoiler is off an E34 M5 as the origional Schnitzer one was kerbed by the original owner.I do have it but it's made out of kevlar reinforced fibreglass and no one locally wants to get involved in mending it.I will get it done at some point but the car has had the M5 bottom lip on it for 8 years and i don't think it looks bad.

So does it use M5 crank and rods ? I don't think they are unless the M5 has a
90mm stroke...

I know Ac Schnitzer replace the origional crank from the 535i which is 82mm stroke with a crank with 90mm stroke .I don't know if it is a new casting/machined from a billet or a modified new crank from another car.The engine has done 90k miles so It could do with a birthday at some point and i will measure it up and let you know...
