Of course soon Bush will be able to say truthfully that we are going to invade a country because...

"We want their Goddamn ****in' oil!!"

... and everybody will cheer!

Until of course China says...

"No it's ours... **** off!!"

Welcome to war in the third millienium!!
To be fought over oil & water on a station near you!!

Welcome to 2003. :)LOL.

What's in store for 2006?

Prediction 1.
Iran has heaps of Liquid Natural Gas, which China wants. It even took Oz up in its many offers to suck out and ship all of its LNG recently:

Perhaps it must also be 'freed' (from piping its LNG over to the People's Republic...)

Prediction 2.
For some unknown reason opium crops in Afghanistan (and the resulting Heroin trade to the US) increases, whilst US policy, foreign control & assistance remains stronger than ever...

I wonder how many mafia crime-bosses and henchmen are travelling in and out of there atm!

Prediciton 3:
Anyone care to predict what we will be doing with Iraq?

Until of course China says...

Australia's foreign policy always amazes me - we import almost everything we can from 1 nation - China.

If we ever went to war with China we would have to ask them politely for more supplies.
