I installed a 3.64lsd into my 535. We put a 3.73 into Jubb's 535. It isn't a bad Saturday morning job at all. It is an opportunity to inspect halfshafts & the driveshaft.

A local e28 buddy gave me a spare lsd, to dissassemble, in the hopes of adding rings to increase the lockup of another lsd. One of these days, it'll make it to the workbench.

Was the diffy I sent you the noisy one? It was ok in my car, honest. Or was it not used, as it was an open diff?

i think someone changed the flange and overtightened it killing the pinion bearings

actually I used the bearings and races out of your unit to replace the LSD unit that someone over torqued. Someday Im going to swap the races and bearings from the 3:15 to your old 3:43. It's all an inbred thing....lol

the actual swap isnt bad at all, maybe a couple hours, dont need to move the exhaust or anything.
