alternator ??

Soo i have this 1200watt audio system and my lights dimm when the bass hits. i have the 104 amp alternator and was wondering if i could get the 140 amp to help with some extra power.

the question is, should i just by anouther battery and put it under my back seat or get the 140 alternator ???

Well first off, Get a capacitator, its helps ur alt and battery sooooo more better.

What kind of system u runnin

i recently got myself 2 12" infinity subs, 2400 watts :D need dynamat , amp and wiring still.

well then another option is a second battery just for ur system, but the 140 alt would prolly help. I havnt seen a 140 before usually i just see like a 95 ir 115, could be different for our cars i guess

i looked at the parts catalog and they had one for the 91's

Right on. When i went to a installation place, I talked to them about this kinda topic, and they said No matter what i do my lights are always gunna dim, But it could be different since ur system is half the watts.

What kind of battery do u have, and how much does the 140 alt cost

the battey is an interstate and the alternator is about $450

Still wondering if is possidle or recomended to put a battery in the compartment under the seat???
