I'm looking for a good price on a set of smoked reflector euro ellipsoids. I want to do all of the lights, turn signals, rear lights, the works in smoked.

The Euro Ellipsoids are better sutted for HIDs. If you take a look at bekkers, our prices will be lower than that! Don't forget they want an extra $100 or so for extra parts, which I really don't know what they are including for that price. The Hellas doesn't come with certain caps,connectors,etc but they aren't $100 worth from the dealer.

The problem with E34 products are they a) rare b) expensive c) there isn't the biggest market for them.

If for some reason you have a cracked euro head light, you can replace the glass, unlike the US ellipsoids. (W/O heating the lenses)

Are the US ellips sealed? If any part of the Euro lights breaks (lens, reflector, socket, etc) can you just change that one part, instead of just buying the whole assembly?

Somewhat. People have taken the lenses of the US ellipsoids by putting them in the oven or by heating them at high temps.

The euro ellipsoids lenses can be removed. The problem if something internal breaks (which is unlikely) Hella doesn't sell (as far as I know) seperate pieces. But there is a company that sells aftermarket lenses for the euro ellipsoids, which is usually the most likely part to break because of stones, etc.

You can dismantle anything. :) You can sell the buckets by themselves or the lights by themselves (as you've seen)
