530i Clock Spring replacement

About 3 months ago I had a missing check engine light bulb replaced while in the shop getting some other work done. After getting it back, the horn no longer works. I've heard that it might be a connection problem, or a bad "Clock Spring". Any suggestions on checking, repairing, replacing myself? I don't feel like spending $200 to have it done at a shop...

Fuse is fine, SRS light was on immediately after they put the bag back, but then they reset the SRS warning, no more light
