I'll vouch for JK Technology's work. If it came through them, the engine had to have been in a very good state of tune.

Now, it may be just me, but I think the trunk is too small.....

Well, the speedometer is in MPH. I've never heard of a cluster that displays KM in one place and miles in another. Sure looks like a scam to me.

Odo is in KM!, This is normal!

The Speedomoter has been replaced with a US/MPH part. The Odomoter. however can't be switched to miles from KM without replacing the coding plug, which causes you to lose to encoded vin #, and get the red tampered dot (becasue the milage has been reprogrammed).

I tried hard to find out if I could make the odomoter read miles on my M5T, and learned that its not possible without replacing the coding plug.

This car's speedo/odo appears correct to me.

Could the MPH stuff be a result of the DOT conversion? I know that my odo reads less than half of the true miles on the car because the ECU was replaced at 81,416. 910 area code where is that? Close to anyone in Raleigh???

True, I looked at a euro import 520 that was the same way. The speedo was in mph, but the odo was km.

If this is the car I think it is, the owner brought it in when he was transferred back to the US last spring. He is a regular on a M5 forum I frequent. It appears to be a very nice and rare car that would look great in anyone's garage.

Happy bidding!

Curt.

Somebody on Bf.c posted that they knew the seller. Who knows nowadays, seems like every other ad is a scam. There was a beautiful Avus Blue '95 Euro 3.8 6 speed on Ebay too, bit over 100k on it if I remember right. BBS RKs, Nurburgring suspension, basically the ultimate E34. Somebody on Bf.c had seen that car, so it was probably legit.
