kinda expensive, not digging the flat black wheels though (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-M-Series-M5-BMW-E34-M5-1991-W-REBUILT-ENGINE-S38-3-6l-315HP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6131QQitemZ460595 1937QQrdZ1)

seems legit, but still, salvage title?

well its ebay, if your patient and persuasive you can buy everything for half price and sell it for double. I saw a DeLorean on awhile ago for over $2,000,000. Yes it was stainless steel. But thats a lot of money.

I just don't trust sellers with poor command of the english language. $20k is a lot for an e34 M5 as it is, only very few for sale above that price.

How do ya spend $950 on a set of injectors?

Maybe his english was so poor, he ordered three sets instead of one.

The dealer will definitely sell you injectors for $950

At the dealer i worked at, an "injector service" BG cleaning was $189 alone. We did 8 new injectors on a Range Rover Supercharged @ $1850

*heart stops* ouch.

Hell no! He doesn't even say why it has a salvage title, I suppose he's hoping everbody forgets that part. Here's 2 euro 3.8 6 speed E34 M5s, both currently under $20k on Ebay. I've seen lots of nice M5s for $15k, with no stories.

I like the way it looks; red, black wheels/tails etc, but 20k for a salvage ... i've seen nicer ones with clean titles go for less.

I call scam, no way in hell that's legit. That should still be a $30k plus car. Had one here in town with 75k on it with an asking price of $38k at the dealer, I don't know what it went for, but it's gone.

For some reasons the pictures and description of that car just scream "P.O.S.!!!"

I figured something was strange. Was curious to see other reactions. What could the scam be? Not up on the posibilities.

There's so many, God only knows. I've seen a lot recently where the car is supposedly in another country, and if you send a deposit they will ship it for your inspection. If you don't like it, you can send it back. Of course, there's no car. Somebody else talked to someone in the states, but when they asked if their brother that lived nearby could look at it, they were told that nobody could look at the car without a deposit! Yeah, my ass.
