"MY IGNORANCE OF BMW'S HAS CAUSED AN ERROR. THIS CAR IN FACT IS NOT A M3 BUT A 318i. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE MISTAKE. MY INTENTION IS NEVER TO MISLEAD. IT HAS M3 BADGES ON IT AT THE CORRECT LOCATIONS AND I ASSUMED IT WAS. SORRY."

His ignorance of BMWs throws everything else he said into the trash ;) How does he know it was serviced by a BMW mech? Maybe it was a guy that had a BMW lapel pin.

Oh... and I would pick the B10... DELICIOUS!
The VIN number is suspect though, heh... "11111111111111111"
Now for the actual one, does anyone want to run it and get some details? WAPBA35019BB30288

Be nice... a little 318 and a M3 are almost the same car... :-)

This vehicle was delivered to Canada from Japan aboard my ship.
I got to frisk it but she would not start.

It is quite a beauty.

Can the people who are voting for the euro-spec M5 tell me why they would choose that over this B10?

Oh cool! Too bad it could come to the states w/o major cost to get DOT approval. Hands down the best looking 5 series ever.

DOT SMOT... who needs the car to be legal... you could just outrun them....

Choice was much easier when I discovered only one was legal in the U.S.

that b10 has been listed on ebay probly 10 or more times. since last july, right about when i bought my car, i wanted to look at it but they said they wouldnt sell to an american buyer. there was a black one too, with photos taken in the same place. sounds kinda sketchy.

edit: even if both cars were mint, i'd take the '95 m5. if the alpina happened to have twin garrett T25 turbo chargers arranged in parallel, well, that's a whole 'nother ballgame

I hate the stickers on the B10, but it is nicer than the M

The M5 seems like a better deal. But it remains to be seen what the reserve is on it. It seems to have a better sound system than the B10 (a Panasonic ? in an Alpina ?) I can't say I really like the wheels on the M5 though, but if it were my choice money not being a concern, I would change them.

I like the looks of the Alpina better though. She just got repainted... because ? Rust ?

The M5 definetely seems to have a mother of a sound system. 6 speed... ooh !

Either one, I think you'd get blown away. Tough choice to make !
