I notice Winfred has an E32 front sway bar on his car. What is the diameter of this bar and how does it compare to the M5 bar. M5 bar is 25mm, rear 18mm, Touring 19mm, Nurburgring Touring 20. I have the 25/20 bars and am interested in knowing what I might have missed with the E32 bar.

Thanks,

Mike

The ETK lists 24 to 26mm depending on model, country and options. My 95 525iT cam with 25mm front, been thinking about upgrading the back.

it's from a 94 740il and it's 26mm and it doesn't rub with my 16X8" e38 rims and it bolted right up no problems and yes it made a difference

The stock 15mm bar is way too small. I went with the 20mm factory bar from the M5T N-ring package on my Touring. It noticeably reduced the inherent tendency to understeer. I've heard that the 20mm bar may be either NLA or hard to get, but I got mine 2 years ago from Pacific. For under $100, including bushings & new hardware, it was a great deal.
