The shaft on the garbage disposal broke a shear pin so rather than spend half a day taking it apart & fixing it the right way, I just welded the d@mn thing solid! Works like a charm until the next time it chokes on a bone. Gotta funny feeling I'm only postponing its inevitable replacement but in the meanwhile, the money saved I can put toward that new set of tires I so desparately need :)
