Perhaps you can give me some advice on this:

When I come to a halt my car is idling at ~1250 rpm, and drops down to normal idling speed (sometimes lower and hunts) after a few seconds.

Strangely if I dip the clutch while driving, it still idles at 1250 but doesn't drop.

Possible airflow valve type thing or any other ideas? ICV?

Check for Vacuum leaks

its possibly the ICV, might be dirty or something, search for "ICV" because I think carb cleaner kills some of them.

does this seem to occur only when the engine is cold or when it is at operating temp or what?
it does sound like it could be your ICV if it happens all the time. (that is hot and cold engine)
