the door lock on my driver side door is starting to become harder to turn,allmost unturnable, what should i do to fix this, i was thinking i could grease it up or something anyone, had this problem before, oh yeah its a 94,318is ...

Try graphite lock grease, directly into the cylinder. The linkage may also be corroding; you can pull the door panel and use a decent lube -- lithium grease or the like -- on it. Should fix it up. And it's not a good idea to run around with this continuing, as its fairly common for the key to break off, in the lock cylinder or ignition.

You may also want to have the key looked at. I just bought an 88 325i and couldn't get the trunk open and the drivers side was very difficult. You would not believe how many of the bumps had been worn off the key. It was unbelievable how much better the new key worked.
