Yes. I fixed my fan sword. After 4 years of blowing on only 4, it now works.

Thanks to bimmerdood for removing my ducting :D

BTW, did you read my latest write-up? That contains all what I could find thanks to the contribution of many members worldwide, who actually provided the info, I just collected it and combined all.

But they are damn good dirty/oily hands. I've only been on the forum for a little while, your help is priceless and we all know it and appreciate it.
Cheers Mick

my favourite country for retirement. :)
I am planning to move there from Japan, as Japan is too expensive when I retire. Already have checked out some places around Cairns and and Perth.
Great country, nice people and cheap land to buy compared to expensive Tokyo. Should rent a big container and ship all my E32 cars and the 2 CV Citroen to Australia and open a specialized repair and used shop for E32, just as a hobby in retirement.

Come on over, we could use your expertise, I'm in Coffs harbour in NSW, there's no one here in Coffs who is really any good with bimmers. You have to learn yourself or get ripped off, sad to say. It would be nice to meet you.
Cheers Mick.

Forgot to mention that aussie pundit. I did just what he recommended, but if you hadn't posted it, I would have never seen it. I hope the archivers mark those posts.
