I wish the owner would get back to me and send me the dB and **** so I could keep it alive for awhile, grab all the technical off of it and keep it just to have it for old members.

That's evolution, I am I didn't have to make sucha decision. It'll happen here one day too I guess (tho I hope not!). Shogun if you wish to avoid this or do seomthing with it and I can help hosting/maintaining a board-txferring a database I would be only too happy. No doubt there are many offering. Seems a shame to take down a live forum, even if it is 'quiet' :) Nick

Well, that is not the only board which maybe closed. They are coming and going. The way the world goes on.
If someone moves on and has another interest, he will close.
And another one will come up again.
If you buy another brand car in the future, you will visit another board.
The world goes on.

Let's see what he answers. I sent him a message. Now up to him.That's good Erich, I'm glad you are being so pro-active in both the e32 and e34 arena, you really help to internationalise it too.

Keep it cooking in the E32 arena. I am sure that many e34ists are to be lured to e32 land just because of the great work and experiences shared online with it, as well as the knoweldge transfer one take with you and 'apply' on the 7 series cars.
