I sold it a few years ago and bought a 911. Sold that and bought a couple of
M3's. Now I'm looking at possibly buying a particular 525IT so I thought I'd check in here with you guys with a few questions about e34 tourings.

First, can a wood trim kit currently installed be easily removed? And are there holes behind it or do they glue on?

Second, would the euro bumper trim that some have on their e34 sedans fit on a touring? (same bumpers?)

Third, I hate the pre 93 side mirrors. What are my options and where are the best deals? I like the e39 M5 style mirror, are there any like them that will fit the e34?

Thanks guys, I'll keep you posted on the possible purchase.

PS: Here's the cuurent 3's for your viewing pleasure.

I don't think you can just pull it off and leave it off as there is a wide groove that it sits in. Most people take it off and paint it and then put it back on.

I was told that it's all the same with mine, haven't checked it to verify though.

I hated mine so I replaced them with '94-'95 style.

Nice looking 3's? you running 19's on that M? Is the cab a 325?

Yea, the white is a 95 M3 with 19's, and the vert is a 94 325 upgraded to a 99 M3 in every aspect:)

Dang Kenny, where ya been hiding? It's good to see you come over for a visit. The cars are lookin' good as always, now that you've had a few of the others, are you ready now to come back to the E34 fold yet?:)

Don't be such a stranger Kenny, and Merry Christmas to you! You still located in the Northwest??

Good to see you stop by....

Are we dating a chick with kids? :(

The factory wood trim might be rather hard to swap to a non-wood trim. The panels are different; f'rinstance, look around the glove box at the mouldings.

Oh Dam! I hadn't seen that. Yes that's the same car. Same plate and it's not far from here. That makes me sad. :(
You can see in the pic that the rear seat headrests have been torn out. Please note the mileage on the car. When I bought it, it had 120k. When I sold it, it had 140k.
There was some cool stuff on the car. I may see if it's still there. Thanks for pointing this out to me.

I am stillliving in the PNW. The white M3 may be leaving soon. I am looking for a 525it. Let me know if one comes up.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas.
