Looks to be in extremely good condition for 122K. However, IMO $30K seems like way too much, there's a lot of interesting things out there you could buy with $30 grand.

Wow, GORGEOUS interior. I even like the steering wheel. Is it Alpina, or does it just have an Alpina logo stuck on it (bottom spoke)?

I can't get over this photo:

Sure wish my car had the sports seats.

The guy's spent a lot of money on the car, and he's trying to get it back. Hence the 30k price. Good luck to him.

Some people still think that a 15k car + 15k of mods and recent maintenace = a 30k car. He'll figure it out.

My car's exterior now looks exactly how I want it. And now I know what I want my interior to look like :D

A little bit, yes.

But compared to the M5, your car's missing the charcoal wood trim, and has a different wheel and shifter knob. Close, but that M5 is just a teensy bit cooler, IMHO. :)

The steering wheel is an aftermarket Raid wheel.

It's a nice clean car. Could do without what look like eBay special "crystal clear" front corners. Also not to fond of the tacked on Alpina badge on the Raid wheel. But the Dinan/Fikse FM5s are just stunning. Prob worth buying at 20 - 22K if it is as nice in person as it appears in the pics.

But 122K miles and an owner that clearly spends money on the car and "loves" it make me wonder why its for sale. Any S38 that I was about to buy would get a full compression and leakdown test as well as a thorough going over. I'm just damn scared of buying a motor with problems that can be that expensive.

THANKS! Where can I get one? Can you take a guess on the diameter? I'm thinking 300mm. Maybe even 280?

Wonder how badly it obscures the instruments.

300 or 280 is ridiculously small for our cars. I have a 365mm M-Tech in my car and it feels just about right. Maybe a 340-350 if you really want a small wheel. A 300 or 280 will vrey much obscure the instruments as it will run right in the middle of them most likely.

Probably, yeah. The tiny wheel looks way cool, though, IMHO. But it does look like he can't see any of the tach numbers between 2 and 7 :)

D'you know the diameter of my wheel?

Yup, me too. They're just like the seats I had in my S6.

Hopefully won't be auto too much longer...

Not too sure, but I think the stock E34 wheels are 380 or 390? Not sure though.
